It’s so lovely to have you here.
Thank you for browsing my corner of the digital world and witnessing my work.
But to be honest, saying “my” work is weird. Is anything really ours? Our material goods come and go. Our homes come and go. Even our bodies come and go. We are inevitability in-between what was and what will be. We are forever found between yesterday and tomorrow. Amongst the last brush stroke and the next.
If we can’t pause this moment and our existence for good, then how can we really define it for good? How can we really define ourselves?
After years of being tricked into thinking I have to define myself in order to be understood, safe, valuable, and so on in society, I now know that I am indefinitely energy. Energy labeled as Jenna Rossi. Energy that cares for this little baby. Energy that kisses my husband. Energy that cleanses my home. Energy that creates this artwork.
And so yes, hello! I am Jenna. But if I am simply (but magically) energy, I am also you. We are one. So, to learn about me or to explore my paintings - is an invitation to explore you. To explore your Spirit, your body, your neighbor, your forest, your freedom.
And perhaps on that journey we remember, day after day, that we come from the same Source. If I created a painting you love, please recognize that it was also touched by you.
Xo,
Jenna
